Amapola To Host New Radio Show

Prominent Philippine actress and Gold record singer Amapola will be hosting her own Internet radio show on PhilRadio.com beginning Mother’s Day, May 14, 2000 at 7 PM EST.  Following the great response from her interview on PhilRadio and article in Super Pinoy Times, Amapola will be hosting RADYO BISAYA NG AMERIKA, a tri-lingual magazine-variety show with dialogue in Cebuano, Tagalog and English.  Music, commentary, laughter and fun are the order of the day and judging by the initial response to the announcement, many eager listeners are awaiting the launch.

Amapola is well known for her hosting her own television variety show “Amapola Presents” KEMO-TV Channel 20 in San Francisco California. The TV holds the record for the longest running local magazine variety show in the Bay Area (eight years). Amapola is remembered in the Philippines for her famous roles in movies such as "Mr. Lonely" and "You Are My Destiny" and has had many gold records, some of which are:
