Cebu Stamp Club, Inc.

Cebuano stamp collectors should consider joining the biggest and one of the prestigious stamp organizations in the country.

The Cebu Stamp Club, Inc. (CSCI) was conceptualized by philatelist Richard Allan Uy in 1996 and was officially registered as a non-stock, non-profit civic-leadership stamp corporation by the SEC on January 30, 1997. CSCI is the first and only registered stamp organization in Cebu including the whole of Visayas and Minadanao. It has members all around the world, some of whom are recipients of the benefits of membership. These benefits include:

  • The CSCI Stamp Journal - the official news magazine published every quarter and given free to all members otherwise called as CSCI Stampers

  • Module - a philatelic guide for beginners and advance collectors published bi-monthly and also given for free

  • The Good company - of like-minded collectors where philatelic ideas are shared and disseminated

  • Stamp Exchanges - which enables the stamp collector to increase his collections by exchanging duplicates through the Exchange Box or to other fellow members

  • Lectures - which are occasionally held to enable members to learn more about the hobby

  • Opportunity to join exhibits and competitions - and win awards.CSCI encourages and teaches the members to display their collections and win prizes during their annual STAMPSHOW every June 12, and during the SUGBU-PEX every November. Members will also have a chance to compete in regional competitions hosted by the Philippine Postal Corporation Region 7 or national and international competitions hosted by the Philippine Philatelic Federation, Inc.

  • Auctions - held once every month during meetings and features Philippine and worldwide stamps and philatelic items

Soon to be offered:

  • The Cebu Stamp Club Multi-purpose Cooperative - an alternative for members to invest and reap as a shareholder. This is the first cooperative of its kind in the country and will offer philatelic materials to members at advantageous prices

  • A Philatelic Library and Museum which will be available to members and non-member philatelists
