Cebu on Clean Award

Considering the “strict” meaning of “clean and green,” Cebu’s award would have bothered on a joke.

With the efforts of local officials to deal with the problems that brought to progress Cebuanos certainly deserves a pat on the back. The Provincial Board approved a resolution congratulating the “entire Cebu Province” for winning the regional search.

Cebu officials exerted their “utmost efforts” to accomplished every possible progress in Cebu. The search committee included public markets. Slaughterhouses, health centers and other local government programs and facilities as basis for the award.

Provincial Board passed a resolution congratulating Mandaue for winning the contest for cities and Lake Danao of Camotes for topping the search among “inland bodies of water” in Central Visayas.
