ISLAND This small island is just a stone's
throw away from Cebu City's south beach has been a mystery spot to the city's populace and
its visitors. Many did not know that it used to be a Quarentine Station for the isolation
of contagious diseases from incoming foreign vessels. |

MOBILITY ASSISTANCE
The
Cebu City Government has purchased almost 100 mobility vehicles and cars, more than 20
motorcycles and 30 mountain bikes to address the mobility requirements of the CCPO to
improve its efficiency in responding to residents' call for police assistance.

INSTALLATION OF FIRE
HYDRANTS
To address the perennial
problem of water. during fires, the city government has put up a number of fire hydrants
in strategic points in the city through the Committee on Police, Fire and Penology headed
by Councilor Rogelio V. Osmena.

The Cebu City Hall building was reconstructed in 1945 after it
was burned during World War II. It took Mayor Alvin Garcia
and his personnel to refurbish the city's center of governance after 50 years of
existence. |
