What's a park without the sky and the grass? The open air where children can run free - free from "breakable" and expensive things around?

This is the place where the children can be so carefree … smudged with chocolate or food on their face, tugging on balloons, getting their hands wet.

The Family Park, located in the Metro Cebu Water District's (MCWD) reforestation area in Nasipit, Talamban, Cebu City. Coming from the city, on-towards, Talamban…. just a few meters away from the University of San Carlos - Technological Center, to the left side is D' Family Park.

For recreation: a children's playground, two swimming pools, picnic camp site, a multi-function clubhouse, and other facilities. The basic thrust of the guidelines is to encourage parkgoers to be closer to nature and be responsive to it and to the rights of others. Hence, non-littering is emphasized, together with discouraging of liquor drinking and smoking.

A lot of structures are still being put up or mulled over. This includes landscaping, more animal cages, more kiosks and other services are yet to be improved. There are caretakers and you can always visit and enjoy the place.
