| They say you can’t have
it all, and even legendary hedonists the Rolling Stones acknowledge,
“you can’t always get what you want.” But guests at Mooon, on
Julio Diaz corner Emilio Streets in Guadalupe Cebu can come close. |

|
One of Cebu’s preferred nightspots
for young professionals; Mooon offers patrons carefree evenings filed with
good affordable food, nice ambience, and plenty of fun.
It’s a formula that has propelled
Mooon to the top of the city’s nightlife scene since it’s opening in
March 1997. The same experience can be had at the new expanded Mooon,
which opened in April 2000, located just a few meters from the old
street-side hangout.
The New Mooon, a 1923 renovated Spanish
house, greet guests with warm colors and an inviting ambience. Here,
guests enjoy their food in a relaxed setting that doesn’t jar the
senses.

There’s actually nothing
fancy about Mooon: ceiling fans, cool the place, there are no
uniformed waiters hovering about, but the place has a lot of
substance and is a lot of fun. It is very relaxing and it’s a nice
place to meet friends and talk. |
With three owners, that’s why they
added the third ‘o’ in Mooon to make it unique.
Definitely, Mooon is a wonderful
addition to Cebu’s night scene and has changed the way many locals think
about going out. Well, they are only open in the evening, dinner starts at
7 pm.
