Eversince a child, Silver Villafuerte of Cebu Gems has been wanting to become a basketball player. Now that he is 28 years old, Silver has been able to realized is dream because he is now Cebu Gem’s center and forward.

Silver comes from San Fernando Cebu. His friends call
him "Bing-Bing". This 6’5" young man weighs 192 lb. and is very much fit for the sport he is into right now.

Silver spent his elementary years at San Fernando Elementary School and at Notredame Academy during
his secondary years. Silver took up Bachelor of Science
in Computer Programming at the Salazar Institute of Technology.

This tall young man always displays sportive acts of movement. That’s why there
never is a dull moment with this humorous young lad. Silver sees to it that he enjoys everything he do that is why he put his whole heart into basketball because he really love the sport. According to "Bing-Bing" his popularity does not affect his lifestyle at all. Though many people recognize him now that he’s with the Gems, Silver claims that it doesn’t seem to bother him because he treats his fans as his friends.

In keeping fit, Silver does a lot of exercise aside from their daily routine during practice. He does a lot of workout, jogging and breathing exercise. Silver is a kid of guy who is very much centered to his goals in life. He said that if he wants to achieve something, he will try his very best to reach for it come what may. For Silver, his family is the most precious gift he has in his life.
