Role-play the safety game “what would you do if?” Children remember role-play with you or their siblings longer than they do lectures.

When you arrive at theme parks, museums and other crowded places, select a central meeting area in case you get separated. Tell your children to approach an employee to ask for help if they are lost. If they need to find you in a crowd, advise them to call you by your first name - there will be lots of other mommies.

Tell your children to keep their distance from dogs and other stray animals. Remember that not all dogs and animals are vaccinated.
